1st Official Gundam Trading Card Game Release

The first full booster expansion for the Gundam Card Game, Newtype Rising [GD01], officially released on July 25, 2025. This set marked a major step forward for the game, broadening the roster of units, pilots, and commands by drawing from across the Gundam multiverse. The expansion features 130 core cards across the normal rarities—Commons, Uncommons, Rares, and Legendary Rares—along with six resource and token cards, bringing the total to 136 unique card types. When alternate-art versions and variant entries are counted, the official database expands that number to 181 total cards, giving collectors plenty to chase while still offering a stable pool for competitive play.
